Pioneer Cottage
Step back in time at Buderim's Pioneer Cottage. Built in 1876 it’s now listed with the National Trust. This historic house & museum is open 7 days from 11am to 3pm at 5 Ballinger Cr, Buderim.

Definitely worth a look. Amazing amount of historic local memorabilia & the cottage is set out so you can see, feel & imagine just what it was like living in Buderim in the distant past. An educational experience for young & old.

Live Theatre
For another splash of culture, be entertained by the latest BATS Theatre productions at Buderim’s Memorial Hall, close to the Village heart.
From musicals to dramas — from comedies to mysteries, their enthusiasm, talent & professionalism will exceed your expectations. These guys are always cooking up something fresh & new to launch on stage & keep the audience enthralled.

Tourist Drive
Take a drive "around the ridges". You will view a myriad of Buderim's finest gardens, homes & panoramas. Buderim’s topography has inspired leading architects to create some of Australia’s most prestigious homes & when matched with the incredible views whether they are facing north, south, east or west, these residences become stunning landmarks in & of themselves.

Coastal Views
Lions Park Lookout is the perfect spot to view the south eastern scenic coastal panorama while the children play happily on the swings. Earlybirds can catch the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean, followed by a hearty Buderim breakfast BBQ or if you are here for lunch try the Buderim Tavern & sit down, relax & enjoy these incredible views in a wonderful venue over a meal, a beer or a wine.

Buderim War Memorial Hall
The Buderim War Memorial Hall, is managed by a subcommittee, The Hall Committee. This is the main hub of activity in Buderim, staging all BATS Theatre productions, auditions & rehearsals, The Buderim Garden Show, The Buderim Easter Fair, The Buderim Christmas Fair, Mamma’s Markets bi-monthly, plus a variety of concerts, balls, classes & exhibitions throughout the year. There’s always something happening at the Buderim Memorial Hall.

Buderim Library
Buderim is lucky to have a local Community Recreational Library located upstairs in the Memorial Hall building facing Main Street, next door to the Buderim Craft Cottage.
It has been here since 1887 & the Library is open 6 days a week; Mon, Wed & Fri 10am to 3pm, Tues & Thu 1pm to 3pm & Sat morning 9am to 12 noon.
The Library has all the latest release books for you to borrow take home & read, all purchased locally here on Buderim (including Audio Books). It has a comprehensive LARGE PRINT section & also delivers Books-on-Wheels to housebound members of the Buderim community.
The Buderim Library holds an Annual Book Sale every Easter Saturday upstairs in the Memorial Hall. The Library is run only by volunteers & charges a small annual membership fee of $22 for Adults or $16.50 for Concession Holders.
